Blow out

A sleeping Elephant seal on whats left of the sea ice after warm temperatures and strong winds blew the rest of the ice away, all hopes have gone for sea ice travel on my winter trip, I was hoping to go to Horseshoe Island to an old wooden hut that used to be a British base.

There is still some sea ice in north cove but to the south it has all gone.
