As the seasons change the wild life changes as well this is our first Fur seal but the rest can't be far behind. They are very vicious so you have to stay clear of them.
A sun halo.
Since setting off on this adventure we have experienced many highs and some lows we have all missed the folks we left behind. We have all grown very close. We are all I'm sure friends for life some, will be leaving in the next month or two heading home either via back packing round some part of the world or straight back to the UK. The nights are getting darker day by day a sure sign of winter getting closer.
Things will be so different only 22 of us left, our winter trips will soon start I hope to go climbing and camping for the week.

We had two Artists staying with us for two months Ann Brodie, a glass designer and Chris Durie a sculptor/artist.
The design above and below is a finger print which Chris is well known for.

The design was made at Sky Blu which is a Blue ice sheet and as you can see he has made it by clearing the small accumulation of snow.

The Igloo was made by Ann ,Chris and Adam.

They slept in it for a few nights.
Yet another amazing sunset. The days are getting shorter now, no more 24hr sunlight last night was the first time I noticed it getting dark.A sure sign winters coming.
