When I went down to BAS HQ last week for a dental check and a clothes fitting they told me that the last leg of my journey from the Falkland Isles to Antarctica will be by the Survey ship RSS James Clark Ross. I do not know the route to the Falklands yet, it will either be with the RAF via the Ascension Island or by civilian aircraft via Santiago (Chile).
